For the Chicken Wings
- 2 pounds chicken wings split and tips removed
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
For the Lemon Pepper Sauce
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 ½ teaspoons coarse black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Step 1: Prep the Wings
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels. This step is extremely important because dry skin equals crispy wings.
Place the wings in a large bowl.
Add:
Baking powder
Salt
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Paprika
Toss everything together until the wings are evenly coated.
Step 2: Arrange on Baking Sheet
